MexiCat Light

from 70.00

Mexicat for “cat-people.”

These wall lights are made from bread crates (1970s) sourced in Hexham, Northumberland. They are ready to hang on your wall, with a feature orange cable.

I can make you a MexiCat in a range of colours, if you have a particular colour in mind, get in touch here.

The wood has been stripped back, hand cut, and assembled, before I cut out the cat shape and handpaint each one. They are then lightly sanded to give an aged feel, before being finished with a clear wax to protect the material and paintwork.

All Handmade Tyneside products are handmade entirely from reclaimed or salvaged wood, using traditional carpentry and wood-shop techniques. This means each item is unique and therefore products may vary slightly, to those shown.
